Recently Added Press ReleasesPhysical fitness outreach month at City Hall  As a part of Phase 1 of the Steps to a Healthier New Orleans (Steps) community outreach, Steps is conducting physical fitness and activity outreach activities within FEMA and private trailer park locations for residents displaced by Katrina and other locations in addition to New Orleans City Hall. Steps Launches Health Promotion Campaign to Fight Obesity  Don’t buy junk. This simple, blunt anti-junk theme is at the heart of our new outreach campaign. Radio and television PSAs encourage people to “Avoid Junk,” a timely message for residents who find it difficult to eat healthy foods in post-Katrina New Orleans.
